[Did you know?] 👉 The 💦 River Reka is the largest and longest watercourse in the traditional Karst region.

It rises in 🇭🇷Croatia, flows into the famous 🇸🇮 @skocjan_caves and then rushes underground to the ⛲️Karst springs of 🇮🇹 Timava, which soon empty into the Gulf of Trieste.

In the Karst and Brkini regions, winter treats us to pleasant temperatures🌤️ This time, we share with you a suggestion for a short family trip to the countryside.
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Take your family on the🚶‍♂️🚶🏻‍♀️Lintver Trail in the Rodik Mythical Park, which was 𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝟐𝐧𝐝 𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟏 𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐬𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐛𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐧𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐓𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝 #hiddengem ☺️
👉 The trail is 6.5 km long, which will take you about 2.5 hours, and leads you through the forest terrain of Brkini past five checkpoints. The first one is ‘At the Lake’, where the main protagonist of the trail, Lintver, lives. After a slightly steeper start, you reach Ajdovščina (804 m altitude), home of the Ajd giants and the most beautifully preserved archaeological site in Slovenia. The trail then descends to Njivice, Kobilja glava and Robida, before circling around to the village.

The Stone Trail - 🚶♂ a walking trail for all Karst lovers. In Volčji Grad, near Komen, there is a special educational trail where you can get to know the natural and cultural sights of the Karst.
The circular trail is 5 km long and is suitable for younger children.
