The thoroughbred white horses you can admire in Lipica embody the tradition of the original over-400-year-old stud farm from where they come. Lipica, along with the beautiful karst landscape, gives the horses both a home and their name.

The Lipica Stud Farm is the world’s biggest stud farm with Lipizzan horses, currently breeding more than 300 of them. Here you can ride one or ‘whisper’ to one, enjoy a spectacular horse show or take a carriage ride.
