Explore the unique cultural heritage of the Karst

The educational and also relaxing trail in the vicinity of the Kobjeglava and Tupelče villages connects nine ancient water sources – karst ponds. During the 2-hour walk you will learn about the importance of ponds for the survival of Karst villages in the past and also discover how they are treated today. Besides the renovated ponds, you can also see a shepherd’s corbelled hut and learn about the Karst’s rural architecture. A hike through this unique living environment that the Karst people have been creating for centuries will also fascinate you with its natural sights.
