Tmbin's Barn

Tmbin's Barn is a little house perfectly designed for a relaxing and peaceful stay. It is located in the village of Povir, 11 km from the Lipica Stud Farm. It is a typical old Karst house, which once used to be a barn.
It is furnished with wooden and stone materials – all processed by us. The ground floor features a bathroom, a kitchen and a dining room. The first floor is the sleeping area. Children usually enjoy staying with us the most, as they have the chance to ride Lipizzan horses and explore the most beautiful parts of unspoilt nature in a horse-drawn carriage. The house lies close to the forest that abounds with hiking and cycling trails. There is even a small yoga studio near the house, where we offer individual or group yoga sessions.
The famous restaurant ‘Pri hribu’, boasting a long tradition, is only 20 m away. Our guests often have lunch or dinner there. The village is laced by breath-taking fields of lavender and everlasting, cultivated by the Renčelj family. Visitors can attend a workshop and learn how to make an all-natural soap or a demonstration of production of cosmetics.
