St Martin’s Festival at the Castles

Five venues. Two wine-growing regions. One St Martin’s story.

On 7 November 2026, Štanjel Castle, Rihemberk Castle, Lanthieri Mansion, Gorjansko and Vipavski Križ will come alive with wine, culinary delights and cultural heritage.

This year, five venues across the Karst and Vipava Valley are joining together for a shared Martinmas celebration. Through wine and local food tastings, a variety of experiences, live music and an authentic Martinmas atmosphere, you will have the opportunity to discover the character of both regions.

A free shuttle bus service will operate between the venues, ensuring a carefree Martinmas experience.
