Škocjan Caves: Journey Through an Underground Canyon

An introduction in Miro’s cellar, a guided experience in the Škocjan Caves, and a final dinner at Špacapanova hiša.

The day begins in Miro’s cellar at Špacapanova hiša with a tasting of local delicacies and wines. This introductory part is designed for a relaxed start, socializing, and preparation for the main experience.

At the Škocjan Caves Park, you can choose between different options: standard Tour A or Tour B (advance booking required). The guided cave section is conducted in Slovenian and English, followed by an independent walk through the Great and Small Dolines. Both tours last approximately 2.5–3 hours, cover around 5 km, and include about 1,100 steps. An early exit is possible if the route becomes too demanding.

The day concludes with a gourmet dinner, where traditional Karst cuisine meets modern culinary techniques.
