Vilenica International Literary festival

The Vilenica International Literary festival is a meeting of poets, writers, dramatists and essayists from Central Europe that takes place in the Karst and other places across Slovenia, and encompasses several literary/cultural events. Some events are still held in the Vilenica Cave where the festival started over 30 years ago. The festival is known around the world for its high-profile Vilenica Literary Award bestowed by the jury every year.
