Visit Štanjel

Walk along the alleyways of medieval Štanjel village and look at the Christmas nativity scenes mounted on the window sills, doorsteps, courtyards and walls. The holiday season comes with a cultural programme that gives several opportunities to buy small gifts for the holiday season in the marketplace featuring local products.

Štanjel is attractive any time of the year, but the pre-holiday lights and atmosphere of expectation add a certain charm to this medieval village.

Children's performance: The Traveling Circus of Clumsy Augustine and a visit from Dedek Mraz
The performance will take place in the Knight's Hall (Viteška dvorana). Each child will receive a gift. Admission: € 6.
The number of seats is limited, so purchasing tickets in advance is mandatory. You can buy a ticket for your child by clicking the link above.
Due to the limited capacity of the hall, we kindly ask parents to give their seats to the children and wait outside. The performance lasts half an hour, with the visit from Dedek Mraz and gift-giving lasting up to an hour in total.
