The Klančar homestead will enchant you with its homemade food: frtalja made using eggs laid by our own free-range hens, chicken soup, seasonal minestrone, potato gnocchi in several styles, meat prepared under ‘the bell’ (a large metal dome) and deep-fried breaded meat. Side dishes and salads are made from the produce of our private vegetable garden and, in spring, wild green asparagus and our home-grown asparagus also appear on the menu. Desserts are made from fruit picked in our orchard and pancakes are filled with our jams we make at home. Our dishes are seasoned with fragrant spices and herbs picked in our garden or on the nearby karst plateaus. We warmly invite you!
