Keeping in touch with Kosovel

2 hours

Get to know the poet’s life and his rich literary creation better.

The Slovenian poet Srečko Kosovel was born on 18 March 1904 in Sežana, in the building of what is today the Adult Education Centre, where a memorial room was arranged in 1976. During the guided literary tour from the Sežana Railway Station to the Srečko Kosovel Memorial Room, you will read poems together with the guide Mateja Kralj and, encouraged by visual stimuli in the poet’s birth town, look for the traces he left in the creations of others.

As you walk through the town, you will gather impressions and put together the pieces of the story of the poet’s life and literary creation.
