Karst House Žan is one of the few houses where you can admire a perfectly preserved traditional smoke kitchen and many historic objects. Today, the house has been renovated and adapted to meet the needs of modern living.
The air-conditioned villa features two bedrooms, a living room, a fully equipped kitchen, two bathrooms with showers, an additional toilet on the ground floor, and a wellness area with a sauna.
The courtyard with a hot tub is a small green oasis, enclosed by a high stone wall on one side and the house on the other. The living area opens onto a terrace overlooking the surrounding hills and the picturesque medieval village of Štanjel.
Opening hours
Open year-round, with advance booking:
- Arrival (check-in) after 3:00 pm
- Departure (check-out) by 10:00 am
The outdoor pool is heated and open from 1 May to 31 October; the hot tub and sauna are available year-round.
