Štok Wine Cellar

At one of the oldest winegrowing and winemaking farms in the Karst, you will be pampered with premium wines, the Teranovka 100% grape juice and the patina of the centuries. The Štok wine cellar (Vinska klet Štok) will serve you stories of royal blood and noble beverages.

Their noble ancestors moved to the Solkan Castle from Bavarian castles some 500 years ago. Owing to discord with the Counts of Gorizia, they moved to the village of Dutovlje where premium wine is produced even today. The tasting of the excellent Teran, Malvazija and other wines as well as the Teran liqueur will be accompanied by a tour of the wine cellar and vineyards.
