The Divaška cave
Divača Cave invites you with its extraordinary beauty and peace. It is part of an extensive system of avalanche valleys, abysses and karst caves, formed in this area by Reka river, which disappears underground nearby, into the famous Škocjan Caves. This beautiful karst phenomenon is adorned with many stalactites and stalagmites that go beyond the human imagination. The cave has been visited in the past by the Austro-Hungarian Crown Prince Rudolf and the famous psychoanalyst Sigmund Freud. The cave features a well-arranged and illuminated path of about 500 metres that is suitable for visitors of any age. The cave temperature is 8 °C and the visit takes about 90 minutes.
After visiting the cave, you will choose your souvenir from the basket of karst delicacies. You will be able to choose between honey, lavender pad or soap, a bottle of honey or Teran liqueur or juniper, sage salt, home-made apple juice and other delicacies and products grown and produced in the Karst.
