St. Martin’s Festival

St Martin's Festival in the Karst 2024 builds on the tradition of open cellars and events in the cross-border area scattered throughout the destination, with new locations and content!

From 2 to 11 November 2024, you are invited to the Karst: to explore a magical autumn-coloured landscape, boutique events and unforgettable experiences!

St Martin's Festival in the Karst will culminate on Saturday, 9 November, when the winemakers along the Karst Wine Route will beckon you to their open wine cellars, and this year again, you will have the option to get there by organised bus service. St Martin's Saturday in Sežana will feature a rich St Martin's market with local delicacies, while the St Martin's Day celebration in the main village square in Dutovlje and Pliskovica will offer not only excellent wine, but also local dishes; moreover, we are adding a new St Martin’s venue in the village of Gorjansko. The Wine Festival in Štanjel will be characterised by great wine and cuisine offer, accompanied by live music and authentic experiences in the “pearl of the Karst”. The “Farewell to Autumn in the Karst” Running Event will again this year provide an energetic start to St Martin's Saturday and the running challenges in Lipica.

St Martin's Festival in the Karst will once again bring fun, culinary indulgence and tasting of the unique Karst wines in the cross-border Karst region.
