Karst Lavender festival

Lavender grows well in the Karst and for many years it has had its own festival at which visitors can learn about the noble properties of this charming plant. Festivalgoers can test themselves with hand harvesting of lavender by sickle or scissors, or by weaving a wreath and making a bouquet. They can learn different lavender processing methods and take part in one of the many workshops to discover how to make soap, natural detergent and balm. The festival is enriched by interesting lectures and documentary film projections.
